Biographical / Historical

Clark Blanchard Millikan (1903-1966) Aeronautical engineer; Professor of Aeronautics, California Institute of Technology 1929-1966; Director, Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratories California Institute of Technology (GALCIT), 1949-66. He was a pioneer in aeronautics, he was active in GALCIT, director of Southern California Cooperative Wind Tunnel, and on the board of JPL. He was also a pioneer in development of multi-engine high altitude airplanes, jet propulsion, guided missles.
