Mackeown in lab with Westinghouse rectifier; faculty including Sorensen and Pickering. Graduation party with Walter Shenson ("Help!" and "The Mouse that Roared"), "Iz" I. A. L. Diamond who collaborated with Billy Wilder, the Ledeens of Pasadena; V. W calculating with slide rule and using apparatus; John Lentz (later of IBM) and his dog Sambo performing tricks. Color commencement footage with Robert Millikan presiding and V. W getting hooded; Wouk family at the Athenaeum.
