BRUCE HERBERT RULE, 1908-1990. Astronomical engineer; Director, Central engineering Services, CIT 1943-69; Chief Engineer, Hale Observatory, OVRA, and Las Campanas. The papers relate to Palomar 200" telescope project (budgets, correspondence, technical files & photos), the Synchrotron Lab (reports, technical files & reprints), and committee meetings, reports, blueprints, and test data for various optical telescopes; plus material on the Morris Dam underwater ordnance project (World War II).
