CLARK BLANCHARD MILLIKAN: 1903-1966. Aeronautical engineer; Professor of Aeronautics, CIT 1929-1966; Director, Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratories, CIT 1949-66. Pioneer in aeronautics, he was active in GALCIT, director of Southern California Cooperative Wind Tunnel, and on the board of JPL. Pioneer in development of multi-engine high altitude airplanes, jet propulsion, guided missles. The papers include personal and professional correspondence, technical reports, scientific manuscripts, lecture notes, unpublished talks, government files & biographical data, and personal and family memorabilia.
