CHARLES CHRISTIAN LAURITSEN: 1892-1968. Nuclear physicist; Professor of Physics & Director of Kellogg Radiation Laboratory, CIT 1930-1962. The bulk of the papers is correspondence; other materials included are patent material, research notes and data, photographs, reprints, and materials relating to work for Caltech, government agancies, and private organizations. Supplemented in 1997 with a small amount of material from the William A. Fowler Papers pertaining to World War II (boxes 15-17).
