Geophysicist; Professor of Geophysics, CIT 1963-2002 (Emeritus 2002; Director, Seimological Laboratory, 1967-1989; Crafoord Laureate 1998, The papers date from the time of Anderson’s directorship of the Seismological Laboratory, 1968-94, and are related to the Lab directly. Included are personal and administrative correspondence, especially relating to the Lab and the US Geological survey.
