Background: Caltech Professor of Structural Chemistry, 1949-1968; Research Associate, 1946-1949; Senior Research Fellow, 1935-1946.
Description: In collaboration with Linus Pauling, Corey utilized the x-ray diffraction technique to investigate the structure of proteins. In doing so he designed some of the first accurate, three-dimensional molecular models of proteins.
Collection Notes: Papers, 1924-1965. Included are biographical material, reprints, conference material, correspondence, and research material including two boxes of material on his work on molecular models.
