Description: A Caltech alumnus, Wulf first worked for the US Department of Agriculture, for the Weather Bureau and then for the University of Chicago's Institute of Meteorology. At Caltech, Wulf conducted research in solar-terrestrial magnetism, geomagnetism, and large-scale circulation of the atmosphere. He was elected to the National Academy of Sciences in 1949.

Collection Notes: Oral history, 1983. This 69-page oral history conducted by Tom Apostol describes Wulf's early life, childhood laboratory, work under Sebastian Karrer, graduate work with Noyes, publications with Richard Tolman, research on the decomposition of ozone, and various trips he took.
Papers, ca. 1917-1987. His papers include one box containing notebooks and other materials related to his research and two boxes containing correspondence, memorabilia and biographical material.
