Collection Notes: Papers, 1921-1937. A business associate and friend of Henry E. Huntington, it was largely through Robinson's inspiration and encouragement that the Henry E. Huntington library and art gallery came into being. He was an officer and Trustee of Caltech and was a major supporter of the building of the astronomical laboratory at Mount Palomar. This collection includes correspondence regarding the origin of the Caltech Associates and the Huntington Library, papers on Caltech and the Huntington written by Robinson, and papers related to his financial concerns.
