This 84 page oral history covers Lindvall's childhood, graduate work at Caltech for Francis Maxstadt, recollections of Clark Millikan, teaching engineering at Caltech, war rocket work with Lauritsen and others, campus matters during the war years, revising the engineering curriculum, role as head of the engineering division, trip to the Soviet Union to look at engineering education, trip to Africa, engineering institute in India, and his earthquake consulting firm (Lindvall, Richter and Associates).
